Saharat was born on September 29th, 1996 in Mukdahan. After his parents died of AIDS, Saharat was more or less abandoned. A buddhist monk gave him a thin little blanket for the chill of the cold season. Finally, relatives dumped him off at a government boys house in Khonkaew. When Saharat tested positive for HIV, the government officials brought him to us at Sarnelli House. Saharat still has the thin little blanket the monk gave him and uses it every night.
