Pardon me for not writing sooner, but I had some heavy crosses to bear
while at home. Two friends died, and then the last month I was helping my
brother, who had a heart operation and afterwards serious complications,
that he could not fight. Jack was two years younger than me, and died after
a valiant fight on September 3. We buried him on Sept. 7, and I left for
Thailand on Sept 9. Jack was a big guy, a real friend to me, and always
gave great advice (even when I didn't want it!). I miss him terribly. I
stayed on for four weeks, and now am overwhelmed with work. I was up this
morning at 2:00 AM, with jet lag. I have some very necessary stuff to do,
and then I shall take a nap.
Thank you for being so patient with me! The kids are fine and were waiting
for me, with a cookie and pop feast. I still have to meet our latest little
guy, five weeks old. I shall write again, once the cobwebs disappear!
God bless you all!
